How is the bird bath created?

Source the Perfect Stone
Kempsyart sources the perfect shaped stone for a bird bath and starts to shape where to carve into.

He Gets Busy!
Once the stone is all mapped out, Lewis gets his tools out and starts to carve away to create the perfect curve to hold the water.

Now Time for the Details..
Lewis once spoke to a nature expert, who advised that birds prefer shallow water to bathe in. So he makes sure he keeps the carving to hold a shallow amount of water.

Bit of Colour Pending!
Once Lewis has finished his design on the stone, he hands it over to us to paint some beautiful shiny colours on them.

Finished!
Our Gold on Glass team have experimented with gilding the bird baths. We came to the conclusion that due to the gold leaf being sat in water it can fade or come off. We found a wonderful gold paint that has a similar effect and looks great on the bird bath designs.
